Toby, these houses are actually older early 20th century houses that were re-faced in the 1940s. I have a Globe-Democrat article from the time that praised the “modernization” that I’ll dig out for you.

I’ve been meaning to stop and photograph these homes for about the last 859 times I’ve driven by, but still haven’t done it.

I wonder what the story behind them might be.
